Dear Madmary,
If the jeeps broke, hop on your bike and hit the South County Bike
Trail. It's totally boxious!

Laurette,
It's funny you should mention the bike trail because someone just showed me
a map of it 2 days ago. I was under the impression that it ran toward
Westerly from the train station, and I had a "duh!" moment when I saw that
it actually was being run east towards the pier and I could pick it up in
Wakefield (yes, as a matter of fact, I *do* live under a rock ;>). I
haven't ridden a bike in years (the dog's my main impetus for getting
outdoors, and it's hard to get a 55lb border collie mix to sit quietly in a
little basket on the handlebars!). The idea of hauling out to Kingston to
start a long ride was a bit much, but Wakefield's do-able....if this heat
ever breaks!
Thanks for the idea!
Mare
